We will gladly bill your insurance for any and all fees provided. We ask, however, that you pay your portion of the charges at the time that the services are rendered. We will bill your insurance for all charges at the time of service.  You will need to present your insurance card at each appointment. If your insurance has changed since your last appointment, please be sure to let us know when you check-in.  If your insurance requires you to use a specific network, you will want to verify this prior to your appointment. Please call our business department if you have any questions at 970-495-0555.

Copays

Copays must be paid to the receptionist at the time of check-in. It is your responsibility to know which services are covered and require co-pays.

Do you need a referral?

Some insurance companies require you to have a referral to see a specialist. Make sure you are familiar with your insurance plan referral policy prior to your visit. Only your primary care provider can issue a written medical referral.

Coding for Services

All health care providers bill for services using billing codes. These codes tell the insurance company what was done and why. It is not uncommon for patients in the course of a visit to receive treatment for a problem and routine services. When this occurs, we are required to charge for both services.

Payment Plans

Northern Colorado Women’s Wellness accepts CareCredit, a health care credit account that helps you pay for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses that are not covered by insurance.  You can use Care Credit to split up the cost of your copays into several payments.  You can learn more about CareCredit here or by asking our front desk staff at your next appointment.

Prescriptions

If you are in the office for an appointment and need a prescription written at that time, we will gladly call the prescription into your pharmacy of choice.  If you need a refill on a prescription, please call your pharmacy first and they will contact our office to coordinate refills.

To ensure that you have an adequate supply of prescription medication, please plan ahead as it can take up to 48 hours to complete a refill.

If you encounter difficulties, please call 970-495-0555 to speak to a nurse to during normal hours. After hours and on weekends you will get our answering service.
